The Long Beach Depot is located at 102 3rd ST NW, Long Beach, WA 98631 and is available for rent.

A. Fees Established:

Daily rental for meetings of not for profit groups and organizations deemed to provide a public benefit$10 .00
Daily rental for meetings of for profit groups and organizations$25 .00
Daily rental for use of the facility for purposes other than meetings$50 .00
Annual rental for meetings of not for profit groups and organizations deemed to provide a public benefit, up to 12 meetings per year$25 .00
Cleaning deposit required for meetings$25 .00
Cleaning deposit required for other uses$50 .00
These rates shall take effect immediately and shall remain in effect unless changed by resolution of the city council.

B. Uses: Use of the facility shall be limited to meetings and other functions that do not involve any retail sales, use of power tools, use of cooking facilities other than small appliances such as coffee makers, and/or activities that could damage the facility in any way. (Ord. 787, 11-17-2004)

Long Beach Trolley

Long Beach Trolley3-9-3: TROLLEY RENTAL FEES:

A. Rental Rates And Insurance:

1. Rental for use within the city by not for profit groups and organizations deemed to provide a public benefit:

Thirty five dollars ($35.00) per hour, with a two (2) hour minimum, plus two dollars ($2.00) per mile. This fee includes a driver.Fifty dollars ($50.00) per day, plus two dollars ($2.00) per mile. This fee does not include a driver. The user must provide a driver that possesses a commercial driver's license that allows for operation of vehicles to carry passengers.

2. Rental for use outside the city by not for profit groups and organizations deemed to provide a public benefit:

Seventy dollars ($70.00) per hour, with a two (2) hour minimum, plus two dollars ($2.00) per mile. This fee includes a driver.One hundred dollars ($100.00) per day, plus two dollars ($2.00) per mile. This fee does not include a driver. The user must provide a driver that possesses a commercial driver's license that allows for operation of vehicles to carry passengers. (Ord. 802, 7-6-2005)

3. Rental by groups and organizations:

Base fee of two hundred twenty five dollars ($225.00) for the first two (2) hours. Twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour after the first two (2) hours. Two dollars ($2.00) per mile. (Ord. 898, 5-5-2014)

4. Users must provide the city proof of insurance that lists the city as an additional insured party for one million dollars ($1,000,000.00).

5. These rates shall take effect immediately and shall remain in effect unless changed by resolution of the city council. (Ord. 802, 7-6-2005; amd. Ord. 898, 5-5-2014)

B. Uses: The general use of the trolley shall be for functions and events for the city of Long Beach, or functions and events sponsored by groups or organizations that provide a public benefit.

Use by private individuals, groups or other users will be approved by the city administrator on a case by case basis and will require a hold harmless agreement and additional insured listing the city. The agreement will also include no alcohol use on the trolley. (Ord. 898, 5-5-2014)

C. Advertising: The city shall permit advertising on and in the trolley for businesses located within the corporate boundaries of the city as follows:

1. The advertising shall be on a first come, first served basis.

2. The cost of all advertising design, copy, production, installation, and removal shall be paid by the advertiser.

3. The fee shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) per year for one space of interior advertising up to eleven inches by seventeen inches (11" x 17").

4. The fee for exterior advertising shall be three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) per year for advertising on the rear of the trolley.

5. The lodging tax advisory committee shall review and approve all advertising prior to placement on the trolley.

6. These rates shall take effect immediately and shall remain in effect unless changed by resolution of the city council. (Ord. 802, 7-6-2005)
