SummerFest is free family friendly entertainment and activities starting Memorial Day weekend and concluding Labor Day weekend.
A. Rental Rates:
|Daily rental for meetings of not-for-profit groups and organizations deemed to provide a public benefit:||$50.00|
|Daily rental for use of the facility:||$100.00|
|Annual rental for meetings of not-for-profit groups and organizations deemed to provide a public benefit, up to 12 meetings per year:||$250.00|
|Cleaning deposit required:||$100.00|
B. Uses: Use of the facility shall be limited to meetings and other functions that do not involve any retail sales, use of power tools, use of cooking facilities other than small appliances such as coffee makers, and/or activities that could damage the facility in any way. (Ord. 938, 05-01-2017)The building is rented “as is” with tables and chairs. The entity renting the building may move the tables and chairs, but they are not to leave the building. Pictures on the wall will not be moved or removed. Garbage must be removed at the end of the rental and the building will be returned to the condition it was prior to the rental.
The Depot is a 40 x 40 room (1600 SF), wheelchair accessible, 5-6 electrical outlets, 7 tables, 30 chairs, both heat and A/C, public restrooms on premises and parking.
These rates shall take effect immediately and shall remain in effect unless changed by resolution of the city council. (Ord. 802, 7-6-2005; amd. Ord. 898, 5-5-2014)
B. Uses: The general use of the trolley shall be for functions and events for the city of Long Beach, or functions and events sponsored by groups or organizations that provide a public benefit.Use by private individuals, groups or other users will be approved by the city administrator on a case by case basis and will require a hold harmless agreement and additional insured listing the city. The agreement will also include no alcohol use on the trolley. (Ord. 898, 5-5-2014)
